WCLRR kid Sunny has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.
Sunny was found in Apple Valley by animal control wandering the desert blind and in horrible condition. When our volunteers evaluated her, they thought she would be a hospice dog for about a month. But Sunny had other ideas. She went to one of WCLRR’s fantastic fosters, and little by little, she started to get healthier. Soon, she was well enough to be adopted. She went to live with her “furever” mom, who loved her very much. Sadly, Sunny’s kidneys started to fail (they had been compromised after so many years of neglect.) She crossed the bridge peacefully, with the warm smile everyone loved. Rest in Peace, Sunny. You were loved. – SB
