ADOPTED!

Meet Bailey! He is an adorable five-year-old female chocolate Labrador Retriever. Bailey came to WCLRR after her owner passed away, and no family members could take her into their home. Bailey is a petite girl and was carrying a few extra pounds when she came to WCLRR. However, her foster family is helping her shed that excess weight, and she’s making significant progress!

Bailey is a Velcro girl who loves being with her person. When her people go out without her, she will sit patiently by the door, waiting for their return. She does very well with people she meets on walks and with visitors to the home.

Bailey is a medium-energy girl who LOVES her walks! She gets very excited when she sees her foster take out the leash. Bailey gets along well with other dogs. She lives with three other labs and is very friendly to dogs she meets on her walks.

Bailey knows “sit,” “shake,” and “no.” She is house-trained and hasn’t had an accident while in her foster home.

Bailey sleeps quietly through the night on a dog bed in her foster’s bedroom. Then, she waits patiently for her foster to get up in the morning so they can start their day.

Bailey’s ideal home would be with an active individual, couple, or family where someone is home most of the time and will help Bailey lose those last few pounds and get to a healthy weight. Bailey loves being with her people, hanging out, or going on walks, hikes, or other adventures. Bailey gets along well with other dogs and would do well in a home with one or more dogs, but she would be fine as an only dog. Her favorite pastime is spending time with her people, and frequent walks and excursions will allow her time to explore and enjoy the outdoors.

Bailey is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, and is microchipped.
