ADOPTED!

Meet Shelia! She is a cute, 14 weeks old yellow female Labrador Retriever puppy. Shelia is sweet and affectionate and loves to cuddle and be petted. She also loves toys and playing fetch. However, she is at the stage where she is chewing inappropriate things such as shoes, socks, and furniture legs. Shelia’s new home will have appropriate bones and toys for her, such as Nylabones and Kongs.

Shelia loves to take walks but will need some leash training.  She already knows some basic commands such as sit, stay, down, come, and the word “NO.” She is highly treated, and food motivated, which will make additional training easy. Shelia loves hanging out with other dogs and would love doggy play dates in her new home.

Shelia is working on her housebreaking, and her new home needs to continue working with her and establish a routine. Also, her new home needs to make sure all counters are cleared of items that can potentially harm her.  Shelia is crate trained and sleeps in her crate all night. She is also good with the cat in her foster home.

Shelia is a typical puppy. She plays hard and sleeps hard.  Shelia is also a little mouthy and can nip and at times jumps on people. These habits are trainable, but we cannot adopt her to a family with children under seven years old.

Shelia loves to play in the yard and the grass. However, she is a high-energy puppy and will need a few walks a day and lots of playtimes.

Shelia is not spayed yet and will be adopted with a spay contract. However, she is current on her shots and microchipped.
