Meet Ken! He is a sweet, loving,  11-year-old (approximately) male Labrador Retriever. WCLRR rescued Ken from a shelter located in the high desert, where he was listed as a stray.

Ken had horrible ear and skin infections and was in poor condition waiting for someone to take him home. He is truly a wonderful boy, and it’s hard to believe anyone could have let him go. It was evident from his condition Ken was severely neglected for an exceptionally long time.

Ken is well behaved, very affectionate, and always by your side or at your feet. He is genuinely a Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to soak up all the love and affection he undoubtedly lacked in his previous home.

Ken has been cleared for adoption and will more than likely continue to need medication for allergies to help keep his skin clear and stop the itching.  His ears have cleared up, but he does have some unresolved hematomas that are not painful. They make his ears stick out a bit, adding to his personality!

Ken loves the dogs at his foster home. He is an easy-going boy looking for a lower-key family that will give him everything he deserves. Ken is a handsome dog who will make a great, loyal companion. If you are looking for a cuddle bug and an easy-going sweetheart, Ken might be your boy.

Ken had a complete exam and senior workup at our vet. He is neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped.
