ADOPTED!

Meet Elle! She is a chunky, adorable female yellow Labrador Retriever, approximately seven years old. Elle was surrendered to WCLRR when her owner was being deployed on a Navy ship and couldn’t take her with him for obvious reasons.  He reached out to WCLRR to help find her the very best home, which we promised.

Elle is a great girl who could fit into almost any home. However, we haven’t tested her with cats or small children, so for that reason, we cannot adopt her to families with either.

Elle is easy-going. Her favorite thing is to chase bubbles. She even has a bubble machine that her owner sent with her.   Her owner researched safe bubbles for dogs. Elle is currently fostered with a few other large dogs and gets along great with all of them.  She enjoys her walks in the neighborhood and even got to experience the ocean, and she loved it.

Elle is overweight and needs to be kept on a strict diet so the pounds will drop off. While in our foster home, she has already shed a few pounds. Ella loves to be part of a family. She is a great traveler and would enjoy strolling through the neighborhood shops and outside diners. Our vet saw Elle, and she received a clean bill of health, including a senior blood panel and urine analysis.

Elle is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped.
