ADOPTED!

Meet Gloria! She is a  sweet chocolate female Labrador Retriever approximately 14 months old, and she is everything a Labrador Retriever should be.

Gloria loves people and especially loves other dogs, big, small, seniors, and puppies. She loves swimming and playing in the pool. Gloria also loves to fetch the ball or disc and is always up for a fun game of tug a war.

Gloria is still considered a puppy and likes to chew on everything. Her new family should supply appropriate chew toys for her, such as Kong’s and Nylabones.

Gloria has started her obedience training and quickly excelled in mastering the commands “wait,” “sit, “down,” and and “come.” She even learned tricks like “sit pretty, “shake,” and “say a prayer.” Gloria is a quick learner, and continued training will make her better.

Gloria’s leash and walking manners are still a work in progress, but maybe some outdoor sounds and environments are still a little scary to her. We believe that Gloria was a backyard dog and not exposed to sounds in the outside world; skateboards, garbage trucks, and loud noises startle her, so continued exposure to outside noises will help her.

Gloria has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on her vaccinations.
