ADOPTED!

Meet Macy! She is a beautiful mix of Labrador, Golden, Poodle, and Flat Coat Retriever. She is stunning and very regal. Macy is approximately 7-8 years old. Macy became a WCLRR pup due to Covid-19 when her family found that they were unable to continue to give Macy the attention and home that she deserved.

Macy has impeccable house manners. She’s completely housebroken, uses a doggy door, sleeps through the night, and only gets on furniture when given the “ok” to do so. She walks well on a leash and enjoys long walks.

Macy patiently waits to be fed and isn’t food or toy aggressive. However, she will occasionally surf counters and dig through trash looking for food, so care will need to be taken to keep food and debris out of her reach. Her new family will need to invest in locking trash cans or keep trash under the sink out of her reach.

Macy can be playful but waits for someone to initiate play: tug-of-war, fetch, etc. She is content and responsive when the playing ends. Macy happily spends her days lying on the patio, enjoying the neighborhood sights and sounds, or near a family member indoors. She is a very easy-going girl!

In her foster home, she’s become a devoted watchdog – on the alert to people or animals near the house and is always obedient when told to stop barking.

With her full coat of beautiful curly black hair, she will need regular grooming. Fortunately, she loves being brushed! Macy will make a great addition to a family or someone looking for a soulmate.

Macy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and had a complete senior blood panel done.
