ADOPTED!

Meet Bella Luna! She is an eight-year-old female black Labrador Retriever, on the small side with a stocky build and a beautiful glossy black coat. She has a sweet, loving temperament and is an affectionate velcro girl.

Bella Luna came to WCLRR when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. She has had a complete medical exam and blood work with good results.

Bella Luna is a medium-energy dog. She lives with two other female labs in her foster home. After an initial period of establishing roles within the group, Bella Luna has played well with the other dogs. She likes to play with Nylabones and hard rubber toys. Bella Luna also loves to play in the water!

Bella Luna is intelligent and knows a lot of commands, including “sit,” “down,” “outside,” “drop it” (for toys), and “fetch.” She walks well on a leash. Bella Luna will heel and sits on the curb if prompted before crossing the intersection.

Bella Luna loves people and will put her head in your lap to get strokes. However, she has not been around children at her foster home, and her energy may come out more around children that will play with her.

Bella Luna is house-trained and crate trained. She sleeps in a crate in a separate room. There are many dog beds around the house, but Bella Luna is not very interested in them. Instead, she prefers to sleep on the carpet or tile floor.

Bella Luna’s ideal home would be with an active individual, couple, or family. She loves the water and would enjoy a house with a pool or a family that will take her to a beach or lake for play and swimming.

Bella Luna is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and microchipped.
