ADOPTED!

Meet Chance! He is a fantastic seven-year-old chocolate Labrador Retriever that was surrendered to WCLRR when his family had to move and couldn’t take him with them. Chance is a sweet, calm boy with beautiful eyes, just looking for a family to love on him!

Chance is a happy boy that adores people, dogs, and other pets! He lives with five other labs, and they all have a wonderful time playing together. His foster has chickens and tortoises, and Chance is okay with them. Chance walks well on the leash and listens to his people. When his family gets home after being out for a while, Chance will “talk” to them to tell them how happy he is to see them!

Chance knows sit, stay, come, and “get your toy!” The last command is probably his favorite because he loves to play! He is a medium activity dog that loves chasing a ball, and if he’s not chasing a ball, he has a stuffed toy in his mouth!

Chance sleeps through the night on a dog bed, either in his foster’s bedroom or another room. He doesn’t have a preference for sleeping in the same room with his people. Instead, he waits for his people to start the day in the morning.

Chance’s ideal home is one with a secure yard and someone home most of the time. He would be okay with an individual, a couple, or a family with children. He would love to have other dogs to play with but would be fine as an only dog with socialization at parks or doggy daycare. He is calm and would be good with children and older adults. His foster says he is a “perfect 10” with no issues with jumping, leash pulling, or other behavior that can be challenging.

Chance is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and is microchipped.
