ADOPTED!

Meet Champ! He is a gentle and loving 7 to 8-year-old male yellow Labrador Retriever.  Champ was surrendered to WCLRR when his family was no longer able to have dogs where they lived.

Champ is very loyal to his person, always by his foster mom’s side and sleeping on or next to the bed at night. Champ is excellent on the leash and walks, with occasional pulling if he sees a squirrel and sometimes other dogs.  He gets along with both dogs in his foster house, one male and one female, and has mastered the doggie door.

Champ is simply a delight to have around and will be fine as a solo dog with love and attention or with another doggie companion.

Champ is the perfect companion for a family looking for a low-key, low to medium-energy dog.  He loves his walks and has been hiking.  He rides great in the car and would love to hang with his family on errands and outings.

Champ is a little overweight and out of shape. His new family needs to start him at a slow pace for exercise, so he builds up some endurance and makes sure he is on a healthy diet to help him lose a few pounds.

Champ has been neutered, completed blood and lab panels, microchipped, and is up to date on his shots.
