Meet Keith! He is a 7-year-old male black Labrador which his foster mom has nicknamed him Mr. Perfect. Keith came to WCLRR when his owner realized he could not give this wonderful dog the time and attention he deserved. Keith was very over-weight when he arrived at the rescue. Over the last several weeks, he has lost weight easily with diet & exercise.

Keith is trained and knows: sit, stay, shake, lay-down. He takes treats very gently. Keith walks like the gentleman he is, and he loves to play ball or fetch any toy you will throw for him. Keith is fostered with other labs, a little dog, and a cat. He is absolutely the best boy and gets along well with all of the others in the home. He’s given the cat ‘kisses’ on the head, and she now nuzzles into him.

Keith is not a barker. His foster mom says she has never heard a bark from him. He is a bit of a velcro dog. He follows his foster mom everywhere. Keith is a smart boy. He learned to use the doggy-door as soon as he arrived at his foster home. Keith would make a great family dog. He would love kids to play with and sit by the sidelines of sporting events. Keith is also great at riding in the car.

Keith had a complete exam, including blood work. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines.

COVID-19 Update: WCLRR is continuing to accept applications for adoptions, scheduling virtual home interviews, and accepting owner surrenders. Please contact if you have any questions.
