ADOPTED!

Meet Freddie! He’s a three-year-old handsome and loving male chocolate Labrador Retriever. Freddie came to WCLRR after being surrendered by a family that could no longer care for him. Freddie is a medium energy dog who enjoys car rides, long walks, or numerous short walks. Freddie doesn’t like doing his morning business in his backyard, so his morning walks are the most crucial walk of the day.

Freddie pulls on the leash, so he will need someone who has patience and time to work with him on this.  He has learned to sit and down and would like to learn more commands. Freddie is “treat motivated,” so training should be easy. Freddie will do best without a cat in the house.  He enjoys other dogs he meets on his walks. He enjoys his chew toys and balls at his foster home. Freddie is housebroken and can use a doggy door.

Freddie is loving and affectionate. From morning hugs to good night kisses, he never lets you forget he loves you. He also thinks he can fit on your lap.  A perfect night for him is snuggling up with his person and watching “DogTV” on the couch. He enjoys gnawing on Nylabones and Kong Extremes. Freddie loves chasing tennis balls and will drop the ball at your feet.

Freddie is crate trained but prefers to sleep on the couch where he can spread out. He dreams as he sleeps all night without a peep until you wake up and are ready to start your day.

Freddie has been recently neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his shots.
