ADOPTED!

Meet Kenny! He is a chocolate male Labrador puppy 12 months old. Kenny came to the rescue when his family discovered that due to many changes in their lives, he was not getting the attention and exercise he needed as a young pup. He was left outside and was sleeping in their garage. They reached out to WCLRR and asked if we would find him a home that will love and train him. His family truly loved him and made an unselfish decision to do this. We are all thankful they reached out.

Ken is essentially a “blank canvas.” He was well taken care of by his previous owners; however, they did little or no training. He doesn’t seem to have any baggage, i.e., fears, trauma. Kenny is trusting and is willing to try anything with you. He is excellent on a leash.

Kenny has exceptional house manners for a puppy of his age with so little “house” experience. However, what else What Kenny has learned from his previous owners is that he is the boss. That is not acceptable behavior for a dog of any age, and his new family will have to continue with his training.

Kenny is a puppy and can be stubborn and headstrong without being mean, aggressive, mad, or having a bad attitude. He does not understand that humans require him to do certain things. Kenny will need a furever home that sets boundaries and rules for him. Kenny has shown his desire to learn and become a great family member.

Kenny would be delighted to have a furry sibling who is a little older and has life experiences that can help him learn to be a happy dog. The perfect companion will be young enough to play chase, tag, and fetch within the back yard.

Kenny is housebroken and, as mentioned before, has excellent house manners. He is a quick learner and will be an awesome pup with some additional training.

Kenny has not been cat or child tested. Because of this, we will only place Kenny in a home with children over the age of 8.

Kenny is neutered, up to date on his shots, and microchipped.
