ADOPTED!

Meet Buster! He is approximately eight-years-old and an all-around magnificent boy. Buster was surrendered to the shelter when his owner passed away, and no other family member could take him in. Once Buster was eligible for release, WCLRR was there to get him to safety.

Buster was well taken care of, and it shows. He is completely housebroken and uses the doggy door in his foster home. He has excellent house manners and fit into his foster home immediately. Buster gets along well with the resident male Labrador playing a game of tug of war occasionally.

Buster walks well on a leash and loves to go out and explore the neighborhood. He would like to go everywhere with his new owners. Buster would love to stroll the local hangouts such as coffee shops, shopping centers, parks, and the beach.

Buster is not toy or food possessive and non-destructive in the house or the yard. He has decided he likes sleeping on a blanket instead of the dog beds. He also loves to be brushed and has a beautiful thick black coat.

Buster is a medium to low energy dog that does enjoy some playtime with his foster dog but equally loves to be close to his family. He will follow you around but is not a total Velcro dog, but never too far away. His foster family says there are times that he is very puppy-like with his curiosity and exploring things. Buster may tend to try to put his feet on the counter. His new family needs to make sure to remove anything that could harm him.

Buster has had a senior exam and senior blood work done, including fecal, urine analysis. He is up to date on his shots, microchipped, neutered, and current on flea meds.
