ADOPTED!

Kaylee is a 4-year-old female yellow Labrador. She is a sweet girl who is deserving of a home and a family that will show her love and affection.

Kaylee came to us from a shelter listed as a stray. Her family never came for her, so WCLRR scooped her up and brought her into the rescue. She has been settling in with the other two labs she in her foster home and with two children who love her and pamper her.

Kaylee is a total snuggle bunny. She will love to lay right on you if you allow it. Hugs and kisses are her all-time favorite. Kaylee does pull on a leash and will require some leash training, a good harness, or training collar will help with this.

Kaylee gets along great with the other dogs. She does eat faster than the other dogs in the foster home and tries to get to their food before they finish. We recommend a “slow feeder” bowl for her as it will slow her eating down. She is friendly and gentle with all people, kids, and dogs. We do not know how Kaylee would be with cats, so no kitties for Kaylee at this time.

Kaylee is learning to play with toys and seems to love it. Her new family will want to have plenty of toys, balls for Kaylee to enjoy. She is doing very well on her housebreaking. Her new family will need to continue to work with her. All rescue dogs can have accidents as they get adjusted in their new surroundings.

Kaylee is a little timid around new/loud noises. She may not have been exposed to vacuums, hairdryers, blenders, etc. She is learning that these things are ok and becoming more accustomed to household noises. Her foster says every day, she is much less scared and coming out of her shell.

Kaylee is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and microchipped.
